Follow these simple steps to ensure your OurFreedom.ai phone number is registered and ready to receive calls:
Most correctional facilities contract with one of a few major communication providers, such as GTL (GettingOut), Securus, or ICSolutions. If you’re unsure which provider services your loved one’s facility, don’t worry—we’ll cover how to find that information below.
Visit the communication provider’s website and create an account. Once logged in, navigate to sections like My Account, Contacts, or Phone Numbers (the exact layout may vary by provider).
Enter your OurFreedom.ai number exactly as it appears in your OurFreedom.ai account. This is the number your loved one will use to call you.
For security purposes, the provider may require identity verification. This could include receiving a text message code, answering security questions, or submitting identification documents. These steps help ensure your number is authorized and secure.
Once the registration is complete, inform your loved one that your OurFreedom.ai number is ready to use. Depending on the facility, they may need to add your number to their approved contacts list before making calls.
