6. Facility Search and Google Places

Every user is required to complete the Loved-One Location / facility location form. Users must review, update, or reconfirm this information every 6 months so the Platform can keep facility-related experiences, community context, notifications, safety features, personalization, and related features accurate.

When you use facility search, we may use third-party place or search providers, including Google Places, to help return correctional facility results.

Facility search may process search terms, selected state, facility names, addresses, city and state, place identifiers, and result counts. We may log search terms, selected state, and result counts to improve search quality, review missing facilities, and evaluate manual entries.

  • Selected or manually entered facilities may be stored locally on your device and synced to your account.
  • Facility data may be used for app functionality, reminders, personalization, facility review, safety, notifications, community context, and ad context as described in this Policy.
  • Facility results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should confirm facility information before relying on it.

Google Places and Google Maps features may be subject to Google terms and privacy policies, including Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Anonymous Posting

If you choose to post anonymously, your display identity may be hidden from other users. Anonymous posting does not make your activity anonymous to OurFreedom.ai.

We may retain internal identifiers that allow us to associate anonymous content with your account for moderation, safety, support, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and enforcement.

8. AI, OpenAI, Translation, and Generated Content

We use AI service providers, including OpenAI and other providers, to provide features such as writing assistance, translation, content generation, transcription, moderation support, ad context, recommendations, and community engagement features.

  • Moderation records may be retained for safety, compliance, audit, abuse prevention, and enforcement purposes.
  • Moderation systems are not perfect and may misclassify content.

AWS processes data under the AWS Privacy Notice. Hive processes data under its privacy policy, available at Hive's Privacy Policy.
